Famous Faces of Hastings
Famous Faces of Hastings is a collage made with archive photographs and photographs taken on location by Julia Andrews-Clifford. Inspired by the rich history of Hastings as a centre for creativity and political activism, this work sets out to celebrate the past and present residents of Hastings and provide a collective ‘blue plaque’ for tourists and locals to appreciate. The original photomontage hangs in The Fisherman’s Museum, Hastings Old Town. This is a limited edition of 1/25 printed in giclee taken from an original photomontage and signed by the artist. This cut and paste mixed media is signed by Julia Andrews-Clifford and is part of the Collectives collection (2016).
